This table top appears to be very light on its legs, like a Daddy Longlegs spider. The elongated egg shape of this table allows two to sit comfortably on the narrow end without feeling lost at a giant expanse of surface, while still accommodating up to ten guests. The thick table top tapers to a very fine edge allowing the dark underside to disappear below the table. Narrow steel legs have graceful curved bracing to keep dimensions as light and stable as possible. The table balances on tip-toes, its turned wood feet that contain adjustable levelers. Clean lines give the table a cool modern feel, while the form itself suggests something more animate and warm.
