This piece was commissioned by the National Arboretum Canberra to be on permanent display at the Visitor Centre. The pieces of timber were obtained from scheduled maintenance removals and pruning at the arboretum. The concept of Circuit is a continuous loop of energy circulating across the interconnected components; the circuit contains a gap where energy may jump and reverberate in the short field between the scoop-ended tines.
