Barrow
Barrow
White Oak, Teak, and brass
3" x 3.5" x 6"
1999

Barrow was an exploration in the application of loose, unfixed connections to create structure rather than the use of fixed joinery. The use of brass rivets and jump rings as connectors allows the armature to shift into it's own stable position in response to gravity, much like a skeleton held together by tendons and other tissues settles into positions.
